IESS serves as an platform to further international partnerships and collaboration between Malaysia and India’s automotive industries as both these nations are moving towards a future mobility-driven automotive industry equipped with Industry 4.0 technologies, Next-Generation Vehicles (NxGVs), and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS).
This initiative will also foster and facilitate a better understanding of each other’s markets, solidify technology and knowledge transfer between businesses, and expand the linkages among the value chain between the two nations.
“In the previous edition of IESS, we witnessed total of six MoUs signed between business-to-business, with a potential worth of USD 32.43 million in terms of sales opportunities in various areas such as automotive, engineering, innovation and technology, and we hope more market networks will be established between Malaysia and India this year, further increasing the potential sales worth.”, said Azhar Taib, Deputy CEO of MARii.
On the opening day of the exhibition, MARii exchanged MoUs with Society for Smart e-Mobility (SSEM), PSG College of Technology and Coimbatore Innovation and Business Incubator (Forge) to further enhance human capital development, value chain enhancement, and technology transfer between Malaysia and India, further enhancing the synergy between these two countries.
